I know, I am a little late on posting this article as many of you have already seen this on Gizmodo or Mashable, but in keeping with my QR code theme this month and with Christmas coming up, I figured I would post something about this.
QR Code Wrapping Paper…yes it does exist. The idea was created by Justin Gignac and is very simple. They are sheets that are 20 by 30 inches and contain a bunch of QR codes. The idea behind this wrapping paper, dubbed with the the name QRapping Paper, is that you can scan one of the many QR codes on the paper to watch a holiday related video on your phone.
QRapping Paper states that they have over 50 holiday themed videos that can’t be found anywhere else. These videos should liven up your Christmas morning gift opening around the tree and bring a ton of laughs for the whole family. Heck, the QR code wrapping paper itself may even be more fun for your family member than the actual gift is.
The idea is great however the price is kinda high. If you can afford the price, it is a great gift idea. I would love to see in the future the ability to create your own custom QR code wrapping paper. Allow you to add your own QR codes and share you tube videos that you have found to be perfect for the occasion.

Wow,thats awesome QRCode wrapper.I want 1 too 😀
Looks like there is a friends and family Discount code of “IAMSPECIAL” that drops the price to $10. Pretty cool if you ask me 😛
